In 2019, I had the opportunity to photograph Megan Rapinoe during her Sneaker Shopping episode with Joe La Puma. This was during the time where Rapinoe was on top of the world after her big win on the international stage with the US women’s soccer team. She used her time in the spotlight to highlight important issues such as equal pay.
Behind the scene is one of the things I miss photographing most. It’s a great experience to be on a set and to watch and learn from both the talent and your peers.
She’s one of the most friendly and down to earth individual I’ve had the pleasure of photographing.
