I’m not sure if its a New York thing but Quarter Waters were the best thing to beat the summer heat when you were a kid. Only costing a quarter it was the best thing a kid could afford. I recently had one at a deli in Queens and it just didn’t taste the same. But today I stopped by Dunkin Donuts and orders a Blue Raspberry Coolatta and it taste just like the ones I used to have when I was a kid.. just colder.
